Our family just got back from a trip to Walt Disney World, where my family invited us to their timeshare. Eve loved it and was so well-behaved. We all had a lot of fun.
On the monorail to the Magic Kingdom theme park
The only ride Eve hated was the Dumbo ride. We thought maybe it was the spinning
so we declined the opportunity to go on Cinderella's Carousel with her. Maybe in
a couple of years she will enjoy it.
This is Cinderella's castle during "Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party." This is a special ticketed event in which the Magic Kingdom is open late into the night with holiday shows, holiday parades, free hot chocolate and cookies, and most of the rides are open as well. My mother babysat Eve so that Ron and I could go. The castle was breathtaking. I've been to Disney World a hundred different times and they've tried lots of different decorations over the years, but this year I could barely keep my eyes off the thing. The picture doesn't do it justice.
Something Eve did enjoy was meeting the charact
ers. She hated Santa Claus at the mall here, but she loved Mickey and Minnie. Whenever she saw them (ex. in a parade) she would start squealing and waving her hands. She also saw Tigger, Cinderella, Belle, and Sleeping Beauty.
Ron and I would take turns on the rides Eve was too young for.

This last picture was taken just outside of the "Star Tours" ride in the same park.
