I think I forgot to tell you that Johnny and Melanie are engaged. They can’t set the date until Melanie’s temple sealing cancellation has gone through.
And as Johnny said, he would not marry until after March.

I know some of you may think this is too soon, but, if you remember, this is what Debi wanted. She kept trying to line him up. She also told some of her friends in Church not to “let him go to the lowest bidder”!

I think wanting to be married testifies of Johnny’s happiness in his marriage with Debi.

I think you will like Melanie – she’s very like Debi in her accomplishments – not the same ones, but her attitude toward life.

A little about her:
This is from an interview regarding her job at Maria Montessori Charter Academy.

Previous residence:
I currently live in Roseville. I grew up in Sacramento and Roseville but I lived in the North Bay area and Santa Rosa for fifteen years before returning to Rocklin and Roseville nine years ago.

What are you most looking forward to at MMCA?
At MMCA there are always people and children to talk to and meet. I love helping everyone as much as possible and being there for the children. I am looking forward to learning more about this job so I can be of more help and be more efficient in my work.

What special talent, interest, or focus do you bring to this school?
Since I’ve raised six children (and am still doing so) I feel I have a tolerance and understanding of the issues children have. I really believe in this school and want to support its efforts and goals.

What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
Outside of work I am working on a Bachelor’s degree in Arts and Humanities. I am an artist and specialize in printmaking. I am a singer and have performed in the past but I am not singing much at the moment. I am also working at the Sierra College Library and am working on a Library Science Certificate. I am studying yoga and like to go for bike rides.
